This is an infobox for an article on a specific figure skating competition. The only required field is title. If no fields are defined from a section, that section header will not be displayed.

Use the defending fields for a future competition for which there are defending champions. Use the champions fields for a competition that has already crowned champions.

Parameter Explanation
title Title of the competition
image Use Image Name.jpg, not [[Image:Image name.jpg]]
imagesize The size of the image. Defaults to 255px
caption Caption for the image.
comptype The type of competition, such as ISU Championship, Grand Prix, or National Championship
startdate The start date for the competition. Use this field also for a competition that took place over one day.
enddate The end date for the competition. If this field is not defined and startdate is, the template treats startdate as the only date field.
skatingseason The skating season during which the competition took place.
location The location of the competition.
host The host of the competition.
venue The venue for the competition.
prizemoney The total prize money for the competition.
defendmen The defending champion in men's singles, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater.
defendladies The defending champion in ladies singles, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater.
defendpairs The defending champion in pairs, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team.
defenddance The defending champion in ice dancing, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team.
defendsynchro The defending champions in synchronized skating, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team.
championmen The men's singles champion of the competition. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater.
championladies The ladies singles champion of the competition. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater.
championpairs The pairs champions of the competition. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team.
championdance The ice dancing champions of the competition. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team.
championsynchro The synchronized skating champions of the competition. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team.
previouscomp The previous year's competition. For example, the previous competition for the 2007 Four Continents Championships was the 2006 Four Continents Championships.
nextcomp The follow year's competition. For example, the following competition for the 2007 Four Continents Championships was the 2008 Four Continents Championships.
previousgp The previous Grand Prix event in that season's Grand Prix series. For example, the previous Grand Prix event for the 2007 Skate Canada International was the 2007 Skate America.
nextgp The following Grand Prix event in that season's Grand Prix series. For example, the next Grand Prix event for the 2007 Skate America was the 2007 Skate Canada International.
