An explanation of what each parameter is. For more information, ask on the talk page.

  1. name — The name of the denomination
  2. image — Any image associated with the denomination (logo)
  3. imagewidth - width of image, default "200px." Recommend under 200px. Used when available image is low-resolution.
  4. caption — A caption for the image
  5. main_classification — (Roman-Catholic, Protestant, Eastern-Orthodox, etc.)
  6. orientation — (main theology, i.e. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist, etc.)
  7. polity — The appropriate ecclesiastical polity
  8. founder — The original founder.
  9. founded_date — Date of founding
  10. founded_place — Location of founding
  11. separated_from — Separation from (denomination)
  12. leader/moderator - The religious leader or moderator of the denomination
  13. leader - The religious leader of the denomination
  14. parent — If the denomination branched off of a parent denomination
  15. merger — If the denomination was the result of a merge
  16. separations — names of denominations that have split off from this denomination
  17. fellowships – names of distinct fellowships within the denomination
  18. associations — Names of inter-denominational associations the church is part of; eg. International Conference of Reformed Churches
  19. area — Geographical area, eg. North America and Japan
  20. hospitals — number of church-operated hospitals
  21. nursing_homes — number of church-operated nursing homes
  22. aid — name of humanitarian aid organization run by the church, like Adventist Development and Relief Agency
  23. congregations — number of congregations
  24. members — number of members
  25. ministers — number of ministers/priests/pastors/...
  26. missionaries - number of missionaries
  27. temples - number of temples
  28. primary_schools — number of church-operated primary schools
  29. secondary_schools — number of church-operated secondary/high schools
  30. tertiary — number of church-operated tertiary level colleges or universities
  31. other_names — alternative names by which the religion is known
  32. footnotes — any footnotes
