This infobox is for providing information about the life and activities of a Buddhist temple or Buddhist monastery.

The template for this infobox is set out below:

Field	Description
name	The full name of the temple or monastery.
img	The name of an image file containing a photograph of the temple or monastery. If the image is called "Image:2125420110 4b827c3a09 b.jpg", just type "2125420110 4b827c3a09 b.jpg". Do not include "Image:" or enclose the file name in double square brackets ("[[ ]]").
img_size	The width of the image in pixels (px). For example, if you wish the image to be 150px wide, type "150". Do not add "px" after the number. If no number is stated, the width defaults to 220px for an image for a portrait image (i.e., one the width of which is shorter than the height) and 300px for a landscape image (one the width of which is longer than the height).
img_capt	The caption for the image.
landscape	Indicate "yes" if the image has a landscape orientation, that is, if its width is longer than its height.
denomination	The denomination of the temple or monastery; for example, "Zen", "Pure Land", "Nichiren". If possible, link the denomination to an appropriate article using double square brackets.
founded	The date when the temple or monastery was founded. If a full date is available, it should be set out like this: "[[6 February]] [[1885]]" or "[[February 6]], [[1885]]".
closed	The date when the temple or monastery was closed.
founder	The name(s) of the founder(s), roshi(s), abbots(s), priests(s), Rinpoche(s) and/or reverend(s) of the temple or monastery, if any. Separate several names with commas (","), or put each name on a separate line by typing "<br>" between the names, thus:"Seung Sahn,<br>Seong Hyang".

address	The address of the temple or monastery, including the city and province or state that it is located in. To put each line of the address on a separate line, type "<br>" between the lines.
country	The country that the temple or monastery is located in. You may wish to insert an image of the flag of the country before the country name using the "{{flagicon}}" template, like this: " Singapore".
phone	The telephone number of the temple or monastery, including the country code and area code.
website	The website address of the temple or monastery, thus: "[http://www.musangsa.org www.musangsa.org]".

At the moment, it is not possible to omit from the infobox any fields that do not contain information, as doing so will cause the name of the field to appear in braces ("{{ }}") in the infobox. The fields should therefore be entered into the infobox but can be left blank. It is hoped that a knowledgeable editor can fix this problem soon.
