An Infobox Art Group may be used to summarise information about an art group or movement..

Usage

The infobox may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article. Only the name and start date parameters are required. For an example, see LINK TO SAMPLE ARTICLE WHEN AVAILABLE.

To achieve the default colour on the name bar, as in the example above on this page, delete the line "| bgcolour = ", when you paste the template.

Parameters

Those parameters in bold italics are required.

bgcolour background colouring (e.g. as used in associated colours/projects). Omit this line to use the default colour.
name group's name; usually the article's page name (i.e. the group's common name)
image representative image, in the form: "Example.jpg"
imagesize * in the form "Npx", resizes the image to a width of N pixels; default is 220px
caption * caption for the image
name group's name at birth
startdate date when group started. Use plain text for partial dates.
location place where group started
enddate date when group ended. Use plain text for partial dates.
endplace place where group ended
nationality group's nationality
field main fields in which the group works (i.e. photography, painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, graphic design)
training where or with whom the group trained
movement larger artistic movement or school with which the group or movement is associated
key works group's best known works
patrons patrons of the group
influenced by artists who have influenced the group (please limit to 5 at most)
influenced well-known artists or groups who have been influenced by the group (please limit to 5 at most)
awards any awards the group has won
