[edit] Ride statistics

It has come to my attention that the statistics posted on www.rideinfusion.com appear to contradict the statistics provided by RCDB. I believe that the stats at www.rideinfusion.com appear to be hyped in the same way that the stats for the PMBO were back when it was first built. PMBO was marketed at being 235 feet tall (measured from water level), while it is in reality only 213 feet tall (from ground level), making a difference of 22 feet. BPB's marketing site says that Infusion is 40m tall (131.2ft). The height of a standard SLC is 109 feet, which is also a 22ft difference. In conclusion, Infusion is 131.2 feet above water level, but not ground level. The speed measurement is just a mis-calculation--WillMcC 22:15, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Actually, Blackpool has a rather annoying way of measuring things. (I don't mean the metric system.) Height is measured from sea level, and speed is measured by the theoretical speed of a mass falling from the maximum height of the ride (again from sea level). Both measurements exaggerate.
