This page really should be a links page to infusion (beverage) & infusion (medicine), but dosen't yet have enough info. --maveric149

Because infusions cannot be patented, there is little available research in regard to infusions.

Why on earth would that be? I seriously doubt that this is true. If a new medicine in the form of an infusion were to be discovered through research, there is nothing to stop it being patented. I suspect the real reason is that so far as modern medicine is concerned, an infusion is just a method of delivering a drug rather than the drug itself. -- Securiger 05:37, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tea

We commonly call this... tea.

Only when it's made from tea (i. e. the tea plant). Maikel 10:34, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ==Long-term infusions

I have removed this segment: Long-term infused oils sit for a minimum of one year before opening in order to have a more concentrated, infused oil that is used similar to an essential oil by the drop rather than by the ounce as one would use a short-term infused oil. Long-term infused oils are prized for their vibrant colors, concentration, and use with or without essential oils as well as their long shelf life. because the propositions are false (it's simply not true that long term infusions take at least one year) and the style is not encyclopedic.
