Accepted. Mea culpa. Alexander Iwaschkin 22:06, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
I have removed this information per WP:BLP. I can not find this documentation, and in any case it would need to accompany the text itself as a footnote. When this is done, sure, add it back into the article. __meco 20:25, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] beliefs

Does anyone have any source citations for either Inferuns' of Gaahl's beliefs? The documentary "true norwegian metal" makes Gaahl out to seem like a bona-fide Satanist, or at least the beliefs he espouses are very much in tune with the doctrine, plus he says the purpose of his band is to spread the message of Satan. This doesn't necessarily mean that he isn't a Norse pagan as well, but I wouldn't deny him the label of a true Satanist either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lyddiechu (talkcontribs) 21:38, July 30, 2007 - Gaahl just uses Satanism as an aversion against Christianity. That statement in "True Norwegian Black Metal" is a misconception on behalf on Peter Beste. Infernus was the one who declared Gorgoroth's goal to promote Satan, not neccessarily Gaahl. However, Gaahl certainly promotes the concept of the superman. (It should be noted that while Infernus is into Nietzsche, he also rejects the beliefset of COS in favour of theistic satanism (though his satanism seems largely obscure), and Gaahl curiously does not cite Nietzsche on the "superman" terminology) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.200.228.66 (talk) 22:39, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

There is no citation of Infernus being a devil-worshipper. I have removed this; unless you can find a source, keep it out.12.96.46.209 15:57, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

  • I have only labelled Infernus a Theistic Satanist on a broader basis; that he said he believed in 'some sort of god'. As far as I know he has never explicitly outline his form of Satanism, thus I've never reffered to him as a devil worshipper - Dark Prime, 19:27, 27th October 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.243.90 (talk) 18:27, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

I am reinserting the material as it was reliably sourced until someone (namely Therumcove, unless it was someone else) came along and proceeded with uneccessary disruptive editing. I think it would be good to draw a line between wikipedia etiquette and adequate knowledge of the subject at hand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dark Prime (talkcontribs) 11:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
