Infrastructure top-level domain

A Infrastructure top-level domain (iTLD) is a top-level domain used for Internet infrastructure purposes. The following currently exist[1]: Although .root is technically not in use as a TLD.

  • .arpa - used exclusively for Internet-infrastructure purposes.
  • .root - as a diagnostic marker.
