[edit] InfoMania
"InfoMania" is the name of a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. Similar in style to, The Soup and The Daily Show, the show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. infoMania's website can be visited at this link. The show is hosted by Conor Knighton, co-stars Brett Erlich, Ben Hoffman, Sarah Haskins, and Sergio Cilli, and is Executive Produced by Jeff Plunkett.
Prior to being produced in a full half-hour format, the show aired in short 3-5 min installments, usually at the top of the hour. Prior to July, 2007 the show rotated between names of Google Current and Yahoo! Current and was a part of Current TV's originally programming when the network went on air in August of 2005.
The theme song is "19-2000" by Gorillaz. Previously it was "Weight of the World" by Pigeon John.
infoMania is produced out of Hollywood, CA.
