Infernum is a National Socialist black metal band founded in 1992 in Wrocław, Poland by Grzegorz "Anextiomarus" Jurgielewicz and Tom Balrog playing also Oppressor at present Baphomets Throne. This band shall not be confused with the other polish Infernum.

[edit] Band history
The band was formed in 1992. Year after they released their first demo record, entitled "The Dawn Will Never Come" and after a few months, the second one, "Damned Majesty" with Rob Darken as a session keyboardist. In 1993-94 drummer Tom Barlog was replaced by "Capricornus". In 1994, with a new line-up, band released debut album Taur-Nu-Fuin. Due to a Jurgielewicz's health problems Infernum was put on hiatus.
In winter 2002 Infernum was reactivated with refreshed line-up. Musicians "Charon", "Necromanticus", "Wolf" and "Exterminus" joined and "Capricornus" left the band. In April 30 (same date of Adolf Hitler's death), 2004 Jurgielewicz committed suicide, which was caused by his mental disorder. In accordance to his last will, the band has decided to continue. In October 2005 Infernum signed a new contract with Sound Riot Records and in 2006 the second studio album The Curse was released.
