[edit] What happened to you Indianskeptic?
What happened to you Indianskeptic? Your have even deleted your own profile! Your proud profile of having vandalised the Mata Amritanandamayi article. Do we have to go back to your history page[1] to know who you are?
- If vandalism is another term for legitimate criticism, I plead guilty.
Normally no one would come to this page. But if somebody strays into this page accidentally, the following clarification would be in order. (Those who are coming to this page with the intention of spewing venom, I extend a hearty welcome!)
The reason for deleting the information regarding editing of Matha Amruthanandamayi page is that whatever the information provided by me had since been shifted out of that page by some user to the page of Sreeni Pattathanam.
The said information was related to certain suspicious deaths reported from the precincts of the ashram. The information were gathered from the book written by Sreeni Pattathanam and which is widely available in Kerala. The ashram authorities even tried to get the author prosecuted. The Governemt of Kerala, then headed by A.K.Anthony himself a devotee of Amrithanandamayi, even given their approval for such an unprecedented act. Now that such well known personalities such as Anand, Paul Zacharia and Sukumar Azhikode and groups such as Peoples' Union of Civil Liberties took up the issue and voiced their protest against the government approval, the ashram authorities are lying low, possibly because of the adverse publicity that may generate.
