Piper alpha incident and Flixborough are two every well known major UK industrial accidents.


[edit] Nuclear disasters?

Is there any special reason that neither Harrisburg nor Tchernobyl are mentioned here, while relatively minor incidents are?

I imagine it's because no one knows what to do with the article. Any ideas? Melchoir 04:21, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Paradox

In the Hamlet chicken processing plant fire, it states that 'Mining disasters are in a separate category', but the Courrières mine disaster is included in this list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.75.94.6 (talk) 23:52, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
