i'm not sure about the year ids started initiating disiples or the exact number. around 2,000 may be a bit out of date now. i always thought he was in new mayapura for about 12 years. does that fit in? btw. does he still collect salagrams? there doesn't seem to be a wiki page for salagrams. -vdd.

Two pages in fact - Sila (murthi) and Saligrama (someone needs to get around to combining these.. sigh). Numbers should be verified. Maharaja recently mentioned a number of disciples in one of his latest journal posts, the one about gypies. Perhaps you can cite that as the source of the number. Don't know about Mayapur, though a little digging on the internet will bring that up Chopper Dave 08:12, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
