I don't think rum is an appropriate term for Indian whisky, because it starts with a clear molasses-based grain neutral spirit to which flavoring and coloring is later added. Generally speaking, in rum the color and flavor develop naturally through the brewing process (of course this does not include Indian rum which is made by a process similar to Indian whisky). -Splitpeasoup 22:23, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
