[edit] Map of India is incorrect

All Wikipedia articles and other encyclopedic content must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), representing fairly and without bias all significant views that have been published by a reliable source. Territories are thus separated into:

  1. Administered by India
  2. Claimed by Pakistan, administered by India (Jammu and Kashmir)
  3. Claimed by China, administered by India (Arunachal Pradesh)
  4. Claimed by India, administered by Pakistan
  5. Claimed by India, administered by China

The map of India does not conform to the government of Indian viewpoint, nor that of the governments of Pakistan or China, it depicts the status as per the actual ground situation and claimants.

Arunachal Pradesh says it's administered 'entirely' by India, but claimed by China. - Parthi talk/contribs 04:19, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Status of Delhi is incorrect

Delhi is not a state as yet. It is still classified as a Union Territory. For Delhi to gain statehood, a constitutional amendment is required.

[edit] Why was my link removed?

Your website should have content that relates to India as a whole: History, geography, culture, government etc. Links related to specific content should be placed in a dedicated article.

[edit] Why was my content removed?

The article is written in summary style, tightly sticking to core India topics without going into specific details. If details are added, especially in the history section, the article will soon be bloated.

If you have to add or update new content (eg updates on figures in the economy section) you must cite your sources from credible sources. Credible sources include neutral media publications and government sources.
