Presumably the association only has one member. If had more than one, it would be the Independent Pilots' Association. Adam 06:17, 28 Nov 2003 (UTC)

[edit] reason for independence?

Is there a particular reason this union is independent of the Air Line Pilots Association that most other U.S. pilots are part of? The name makes it sound like a rather pointed distinction, so I'm wondering if there's some history behind this. --Delirium (talk) 08:49, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
