Indy (gene)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Indy, short for I'm not dead yet, is a gene of the model organism, the fruitfly Drosophila melanogaster. Mutant versions of this gene doubles the fruitflies' average lifespan. Its name originates from a repeated comic line in Monty Python and the Holy Grail[1]
