Indotyphlus maharashtraensis Giri et al. 2004
This species was recently (2004) discovered and described by scientists of Bombay Natural History Society and The natural History Museum, London. It is the second only species of Indotyphlus known to science and was discovered from Koyna, Satara district, Maharashtra.
