The Indonesian cricket team is the team that represents the country of Indonesia in international cricket matches. Cricket in Indonesia is governed by Cricket Indonesia (formerly the Indonesia Cricket Foundation). Cricket Indonesia became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 2001. [1]

Cricket in Indonesia is charged with the promotion and development of cricket in Indonesia and is a member of the ICC's East-Asia/Pacific region, playing in the East-Asia Pacific Challenge in 2004, and in the 2005 ICC EAP Cricket Cup. In 2006, they announced their intention to join the Asian Cricket Council, and were originally included in the draw for the ACC Trophy [2], although their membership of the ACC was rejected, and they did not take part in the tournament.

Cricket Indonesia is comprised of three full members being; the Jakarta Cricket Association, Cricket Bali and Cricket Bogor. Today cricket is played by schools across the archipeligo. Seasonal senior competitions are played in Both Jakarta and Bali with annual international 6's tournaments played in Bali, Jakarta and Labuan Bajo on the eastern Indonesia island of Flores.
