'Indie Spinner Rack', or more commonly refered to as ISR, is an internet pod cast that focuses solely on independent comic books, comic book creators and the independent comic book scene. The show is hosted by Charlito and Mr. Phil.

[edit] Sequential Skeletons
In Sequential Skeletons, Mr. Phil talks about obscure facts and long forgotten works of some of the comicbook industry's greatest creators. This segment first appeared in Issue 2, October 11, 2005 with Michael Lark, the writer of Terminal City.
[edit] Dialing Ditko
A segment of the show where Charlito and Mr. Phil would cold call people in the phone book with the name Steve Ditko with the hopes of finding the famed comicbook creator. This segment started with Issue 4, October 15, 2005 and in Issue 7, November 6, 2005 they contacted Marvel Comics' corporate office with the hopes of getting a direct phone number, but did not succeed.

In the same spirit asDialing Ditko, Charlito and Mr. Phil started a new segment where they searched for Dave Sim,the creator of Cerebus the Aardvark. This segment first aired in Issue 16, February 04, 2006. Charlito and Mr. Phil succeeded in finding Mr. Sim and he appeared for a full interview in the One Year Anniversary Show, Issue 49, September 18, 2006.

In this segment,the hosts discuss news and new releases from Marvel and DC Comics. This segment first appeared in Issue 2, October 11, 2005 with the announcement of Planet Hulk from Marvel Comics.
[edit] Music of Indie Cartoonists
Many members of the comic book scene also have bands and music projects. This segment covers those creators and the ISR hosts play some of their musical creations. This segment first appeared in Issue 118, April 13, 2008 with music by Bryan Lee O'Malley, Alec Longstreth, James Kochalka, Chris Schweizer, Steve Mannion, Ben Towle and Michele Riganese.

Hidden on the home page of ISR is an Easter Egg Episode where the hosts give their reviews of the movie, V for Vendetta.
[edit] Awesome: The Indie Spinner Rack Anthology
Proposed by members of the ISR web forum (also known as The Izzer), Awesome: The Indie Spinner Rack Anthology is a compellation of short works done by creators and listeners of the show as well as some well known contributors to the independent comics scene. Published by Evil Twin Comics, all the proceeds from this book go towards supporting Indie Spinner Rack as well as provide a scholarship to one lucky student of the Center for Cartoon Studies.

The first recipiant of the Awesome Scolarship was announced on April 18, 2008 Issue 119.
