[edit] About Indicast
Indicast is a weekly magazine-style capsule where the talk is about stuff which Indians and Indians abroad (NRIs) would like to listen to about in India in an informal 'canteen chat' way that is not really news-reader like. Topics vary from Indian news, pop-culture, arranged marriages, cricket, business, technology, bollywood, and the internet. The venture was conceptualized in September 2005 soon after the launch of iTunes. The first episode of Indicast was released in October 2005.
Indicast was later split into various sub-podcasts out from the main Indicast podcast, including a business oriented podcast - BiziNation, an interview style podcast - Point Blank, a technology oriented podcast - Tech Ka Masala, and a web blog based podcast - Amuk Amuk(defunct).
[edit] About the Organizers

[edit] Media Coverage
Being on the earliest podcasters from India, Indicast has enjoyed a wide media coverage. Apart from being featured on iTunes' 'New and Notable ' section, Indicast has also been featured on popular Indian media channels like NDTV, OutLook and Midday.[citation needed]
