State Road 312 in the U.S. state of Indiana is an east-west state highway in Indiana. It runs from the Illinois state line east to U.S. Route 12 in East Chicago. This is a distance of 5.7 miles (9.2 km).[1]
This state road is primarily local in nature, serving an industrial area of East Chicago and allowing easy access to Cline Avenue. Indiana 312 is called Chicago Avenue for most of the eastern 5 miles. It turns north onto Sheffield Avenue and west onto Gostlin Street before becoming Brainard Avenue in Illinois.
