State Road 19 in the U.S. state of Indiana exists in two sections. The first runs from the Michigan state line to State Road 18 south of Amboy. The second portion runs from State Road 22 east of Kokomo to State Road 32 in Noblesville. The road is a surface highway and mostly a rural or small town highway with the exception of its portion in Elkhart.
Originally, from the Michigan state line to Elkhart, S.R. 19 was part of U.S. Route 112 from 1926 to 1934, and U.S. Route 112S from 1934 to 1936.
Cities and towns on the northern part from north to south are Elkhart, Wakarusa, Nappanee, Etna Green, Mentone, Akron, Gilead, Chili, Peru, Sante Fe, North Grove, and Amboy.
Cities and towns on the southern part from north to south are Tipton, Atlanta, Arcadia, Cicero and Noblesville.
