Indian Society for Trenchless Technology (IndSTT) is an organization which promotes the application of trenchless technology in India and other South Asian nations. It was established in 1995 and is headquartered at New Delhi, India.
IndSTT assists the international as well as domestic trenchless stakeholders in sensitization of trenchless technology techniques used in development, management and renewal of subsurface utilities. It brings out a Technical Journal regularly, titled "No Dig India", to sensitize readers about Trenchless Developments.
It is run by a Governing Council headed by the Chairman (presently Chander Verma) and assisted by the Executive Director (currently Niranjan Swarup).

Promotion of better and more effective utilization of Trenchless Technology through education, training and development in all spheres of Government, agriculture, industry, commerce, education infrastructure, services and such other sectors as may be deemed relevant.

Promotion of leadership and to promote study and application of professional principles and practices in the field of Trenchless Technology in order to assist management and administration to develop and maintain an effective organization & organizational culture for environmental promotional purposes.
Sensitizing Stakeholders
Promoting an understanding of Trenchless Technology as a basic responsibility of management and administration and to assist the organization in planning and implementing their programme for the development of Trenchless Technology with a view to maintaining their effectiveness and changing their adaptability to changing problems challenges.
Information dissemination
Stimulating thoughts and efforts for dissemination, exchange and furtherance of information, knowledge, research, techniques, materials, aids, skills, and attitude in the field of Trenchless Technology.
Research & Development
Sponsoring appropriate research and/or publish necessary literature, books, journals, new letters, pamphlets, reports in the furtherance of the objectives of the Society.
Educational Objectives
Promoting and assisting in the promotion of professional school and institutions aligned with the objective of the Society and other professional degree, diploma and certificates with approval from competent authority.
Instituting and establishing scholarships, grants, awards and prizes to encourage study and research in the field of Trenchless Technology.
Establishing, organizing or assisting in setting up professional institutions, libraries, laboratories, exhibitions and other departments for the promotion of the activities of the Society with approval from competent authority.
Networking Objectives
Conducting and assisting in conducting conferences, meetings, lectures / seminars, workshops or any other programme in furtherance of the objective of the Society.
Cooperating and collaborating with institutions, bodies and agencies having similar objectives, for the promotion and development of Trenchless Technology movement in the country.
Maintaining constructive liaison or join any association, organization or to seek or grant affiliation to any other body having similar objectives in India & Abroad.
Constituting, supporting and assisting in the establishment of branch of the Society in various parts of India in order to make its activities more effective and to spread the Trenchless Technology movement throughout the country by giving full scope for development of the local ingenuinity and talents.
Fostering a feeling of fellowship among its members and to promoting understanding and goodwill among all persons working in the field of Trenchless Technology.
General
The Society takes up any other matter, related with the objectives of the Society from time to time depending upon the requirement and does all activities as are incidental and conducive to the attainment of the objective of the Society.
Membership
Society is formed by its general body, which include stakeholders from different walks of Trenchless and allied fields. The general body consists of the following categories of members:
1. Founder Members, 2. Institutional Members, 3. Individual Members, 4. Professional Members, 5. Associate Member / Student / Research Members 6. Fellow / Hon. Fellow Members 7. Patron Members
Every person or organization desirous to be enrolled as member of the Society has to apply in the prescribed form to the council. The admission is subject to satisfaction of the conditions of eligibility stipulated for each category. Such application are considered and approved or disapproved by the council on such terms and conditions as per the rules in force on the merit of each individual application.
General'
The Individuals interested to join are required to pay the joining fee and the Annual / One time membership fee as fixed by the Council from time to time. Members are entitled to attend the Annual General Body Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings or nominate their representatives who fulfill the eligibility conditions of a Professional member. The said representative is entitled to attend the meetings of the General Body. Voting rights however are subject to individuals’ voting right.
