Indian Journal of Gastroenterology (Indian J Gastroenterol or IJG) is a premier peer-reviewed bi-monthly medical journal related to gastroenterology published from India. It is published by the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and its office is located at Mumbai. It is widely indexed and abstracted in major abstracting services including Index Medicus (Medline) and Excerpta Medica.
The journal was started in 1982 and it has eminent persons in the field of gastroenterology from India as members of its editorial board. The Journal is widely accepted as amongst the best Indian medical journals.
The journal includes Editorials, Original Articles, Review Articles, Short Reports, Clinical Case Reports, Case Snippets, Debates and Letters.
