Indian Hill is full of people! This school district has 4 schools. It has a primary school which is k-2 an elementary that has indian hill preschool connected to it 3-5. Then the Middle school is 6-8. The high school is 9-12. Primary and Elemantary students school start at 8:35 and ends at 3:35. The Middle and High school starts at 7:35 and ends at 2:35ish. The High school really ends at 2:35. The Primary and Elementary students have the same classes at every time every day, but for the High school and Middle school it is a bit crazier then that. On Monday,Tuesday and Friday you do to all of your bells. 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7. Though on Wednesday you have your encore (specials like gym art choir band or orchestra) and you have your odd number bells. Your core classes (which are math, english, social studies, science, and forien lang.) are double the amount of time that they are on Mondays. Your encore classes are 5 minutes less. And the different grade levels have their lunch at different times first 8 graders then 7 graders then 6 graders. Then on Thursday you have your even classes and your encores. Then at 1:00 you go to team time. Team time for 6 graders is working with 8 graders called mentors. Mentors are to help 6 graders adapt to this crazy middle school and an older figure for them to have fun with. & and * graders that are not mentors just hand out and have study hall during this time. Then we have activity period. The bad part of being a mentor id you have to miss out on the fun and work with teachers to plan the next team time(s). Other students choose from a long list of fun and creative activities to do you can work out on equitment. Express yourself in writing. or relax and peaceful yoga class. There are so many more activities to choose from.
