India Hut House is an Online Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu DVD Movie Rental website. It maintains a database of old and new movies and also has a collection of Bollywood, Kollywood, and Tollywood news, reviews, and previews among other useful information for the average movie watcher.^[1]

India Hut House began in Laural, Maryland on August 31, 2001. The founder was Mr. Manoharan Krishnan. It began with Tamil and Hindi DVD Rental, and it had a Tamil DVD shop, where you can purchase DVDs in Tamil

In 2006, India Hut House added movie reviews, movie previews, movie galleries, Indian movie entertainment news, movie news, and movie wallpapers, etc. in an attempt to bring more pleasure to life and entertainment enhancements to the Indian community in US and around the word. It originally only had this content for Tamil.

In 2007, India Hut House added Telugu to movies that can be rented. Along with adding Telugu for rental, it added content, similar to their Tamil, for customer conveniance. ^[2]

When India Hut House first began, it brought video rental store business to the internet. Its objective was to spread culture throughout Indian community, through Indian Movie DVD Rental, for one small flat-fee, approx. 25 USD, and shipping movies to anyone around the country. It was originally, 3-movies per shipment and the customer could keep the movies as long as they wished, no late fee's.^[3]

India Hut House rents and sells 100% original DVDs, unlike the pirated DVDs of other companies in the same business. It strives to send the highest quality of movie that is universal and will work in all DVD players allowing a bigger pool of customers to become members.^[4]

India Hut House strives to maintain an up to date database filled with the newest movies as soon as they come in DVD in all its languages, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. India Hut House only rents movies that are family-friendly, and are approved by the Central Board of Film Certification for the viewing of the general public.^[5]
