The 22nd Independent Spirit Awards, given on 24 February 2007, honored the best independent filmmaking of 2006.

Little Miss Sunshine won four Spirit Awards: Best Feature, Director (Dayton and Faris), Supporting Actor (Arkin) and First Screenplay.
