Independent Catholic Apostolic Church of Brazil

The Independent Catholic Apostolic Church of Brazil (Igreja Católica Apostólica Independente do Brasil) was formed by Bishop Manoel Ceia Laranjeira in the 1960s from former members of two movements, the Ordem de San Andres (Order of Saint Andrew) and the Brazilian Free Catholic Church. Both of these Independent Catholicism movements had been founded in the 1920s and 1930s by Bishop Salomão Barbosa Ferraz .
