[edit] Note

Delhi is classified as a UT, not a state

The state of Jammu and Kashmir , Numbered 10, is not properly drawn and has been shown as though some parts of it are with Pakistan on the left side and some parts of it are with China on the right side. This is a wrong representation and the accurate map is available in the government of india webpage (http://india.gov.in/maps/jammu.php)
