I removed the category Category:Mafiosi by origin. Indian mobsters are not mafiosi. One is a mafioso when one belongs to the Sicilian Mafia or the American Cosa Nostra. -- Mafia Expert 12:28, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

No, the distinction is as germane as the mafia vs criminal distinction; mobsters control large groups of criminals. However, Category:Indian mobsters should be a subclass of criminals. Mukerjee 02:29, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
