Incuyo is the main village in Parinacochas, which is located in South Ayacucho, Perú.
PARINACOCHAS Parinacochas is very known for the "Laguna de Parinacochas" which is a lake in the province by the same name, this lagoon houses the parihuanas, birds with red wings and white breasts that inspired Libertador San Martín to create the Peruvian flag.
The Parinocochas was the capital of the CONTISUYO which was part of the INCA IMPERIUM.
Today the city is visited by tourists, mainly the lake. It is also known for the plenty vicuñas there.
