Incognegro was Ludacris' debut album before signing with Def Jam Records. Album reportedly sold more than 300,000 copies. Most of the tracks were reused in his major label debut Back for the First Time except "It Wasn't Us" "Midnight Train" "Hood Stuck" and "A Rock and a Hard Place".
