Talk:In the Pink
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I heard my father use the phrase "in the pink" as a child, meaning to be in a good or profitable position. It was used in an innocent way. I have recently (45 years hence) wondered if there were not some sexual overtones to this phrase, and, that's why I went to Wikipedia to learn more. I'm not into to too much of the current popular music, as this post seems to be centered on. How can I or we go about finding more concerning the history of this phrase?
