"In the Summertime" is a song by Australian rock group Thirsty Merc. It was released in the Australian Summer of 2004. The track is a tribute to the Australian summer and is a reflection of the laidback Aussie style. The song reached #43 in the ARIA charts, and is used as the theme song for the Australian television program, Bondi Rescue, which airs on Network Ten. Its music video was nominated for an ARIA Award in 2005.

The music video for "In the Summertime" features the band playing the song on sand dunes meanwhile cutting into shots of the beach, as is the theme of the song. The video clip was directed by Adrian Van De Velde and was nominated for the ARIA award for best video in 2005, losing to "O Yeah" by Perth band End of Fashion.
