"In the Heat of the Night" is a 1985 song by German singer Sandra. The song was Sandra's second single, it charted number one in Switzerland and Israel, and number two in Germany. The song was covered by Hong Kong pop singer Anita Mui in 1986 and by Finnish gothic-doom metal band To/Die/For in 1999. The song was also redone by a group named E-Rotic for PlayStation 2's Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2.
