"In the Chapel in the Moonlight" is a 1936 popular song written by Billy Hill. The song was revived by Kitty Kallen in 1954. Her recording, which was released by Decca as catalog number 29130, reached #4 on the Billboard magazine charts [1] and #5 on the Cash Box magazine Best Selling Record charts. It has been performed frequently since then by singers including Dean Martin. It was covered by heavy metal band Celtic Frost on their album Into the Pandemonium.
