In a Biskit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In a Biskit is a line of snack crackers produced by Nabisco. Originally released in Australia in 1968, the line has since grown to be available internationally. The most well known variety of In a Biskit crackers, or "flavour crisps", as the box announces, is Chicken In A Biskit, which is one of the four original flavours. The chicken variety is unique in the range of flavours as the crackers do not contain any chicken (but US versions contain a small amount).

Nabisco also produces Vegemite, bacon, and nacho flavoured Biskits, as well as more traditional flavours such as barbecue, "Crispy Potato" and salt and vinegar. In a Biskit crackers are packaged in a 175-200 gram box or a "Multipack" which contains ten bags of 25 grams each. Multipacks are used in several Nabisco products and were introduced as part of the In a Biskit line in August 1999.

In the United States, only the chicken flavor is available as Chicken In A Biskit and is instead part of a line of crackers known as Flavor Originals that includes Better Cheddars, Sociables, and Vegetable Thins

As of this millenium, In a Biskit is now owned by Kraft who bought the name off Nabisco for $120 million (AUS.
