"In Which Dells Finds His Fight" is the ninth episode and the first season finale from the Grey's Anatomy spin-off show, Private Practice. The episode aired on December 5, 2007 in the United States.

This is the last episode written and filmed before the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike. After the strike ended, ABC announced that no new episodes would be filmed until Private Practice returned in fall 2008 for a second season.[citation needed]
