"In Swings The Tide" is the third studio album by New Zealand musician Anika Moa It was released on released October 8th, 2007. It is her first studio album since Stolen Hill in 2005.

The album was released in New Zealand on October 8th. In Swings The Tide was recorded at Moa's home in her lounge and produced by Moa herself. It started out as a demo-recording session and soon flourished into a what is now a full-blown album.
Moa sums 'In Swings The Tide' up best herself; "This third album is a more mature and more developed me. It's the best one yet. I say that without being modest. It's the best album I have ever done".[1]

The album debuted on the New Zealand Album Chart on October 15th at an impressive #8 before jumping the next week to #6, tieing with her previous effort Stolen Hill. The album has been certified with a Platinum certification selling in the excess of 15,000+ albums, and is currently still charting on the New Zealand Album Chart after 33 weeks on the chart since its release.
