The "In Step Tour" of SRV and Double Trouble proved to be a success, as Stevie and bass player Tommy Shannon have overcome their addictions with drugs and alcohol. The tour started at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver and ended at Alpine Valley Music Theater in Wisconsin, when Stevie was killed in a helicopter crash after the concert, to get back to Chicago, Illinois.
