Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold

Hi. Just noticed your note when reformatting the references added for the 11000 page report that are PDF. You said you weren't sure about them. Perhaps I could clarify what they are if you aren't sure. Wildhartlivie 10:16, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm just not sure what to call them (i.e the title parameter). Most of the other references are to news items, so they're usually quite straightforward to use with the citation templates. There's a link to a GIF of a page of Eric's writing and it took me a little searching to come up with a decent title. One of the PDFs is just a collection of scans of official papers and reports. The other PDF is also 33MB, which is quite large. I'm still downloading it to see what's in it. It would perhaps be better if we can link to a web page with the PDF link on it, rather than directly to the PDF. That would allow people to possibly navigate to other parts of the site to find more information. A PDF is kind of a dead end, if you know what I mean. --Imroy 10:46, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

I understand. The PDF files from what is marked the 11000 page report are part of the official report released. There used to be a page that detailed what each 100 page section of the report covered, but I can't find it anymore (I think that website is gone now). The portion in the reference was the part that included the police reports of interviews of the individuals mentioned. I wasn't sure what else to put, in the interest of keeping the references concise if possible. The other PDF file, which is quite big, IS comprised of scans of the journals and seemed to be the most direct reference possible for the parts of the article quoting them. There are sites out there that purport to have transcripts of the journals, but they are secondary sources and not all of them are completely accurate. In researching this for references, I've ended up having to read a whole lot of documents and pages. Wildhartlivie 04:25, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Fishey lenses

Thanks for your help, I will check out the information provided. I might even go for a better brand or design as well. Many thanks. Cheers_Ad@m.J.W.C. 08:52, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Chris Taylor (comedian) vandalism

How was I vandalising? As far as we're aware he's heterosexual, we're just missing a citation for it. It's as much a fact as his year of birth. 58.164.236.91 06:00, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

One of your earlier edits, to the Chris Taylor disambiguation page, claimed that he was gay[1]. Saying that he is hetrosexual and putting the {{Fact}} template next to it is essentially the same thing. You must be pretty dumb to think you could sneak that "clever" bit of vandalism past us. Please find something more productive to do with your time. --Imroy 10:11, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
So it's now vandalism to say he has a sexual orientation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.164.236.91 (talk) 13:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
No, but it is unnecessary to bring his sexual orientation into question. Combined with your short but focused history, it was clearly another attempt at vandalism. --Imroy 13:57, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

When reverting vandalism...

... please watch to make sure you get it all. In this recent edit of yours you reverted one but recovered some other vandalism. Always try to follow up and check that you got it all. Other than that great job! Cheers, Master of Puppets Care to share? 05:13, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for catching that. I was looking at three accumulated differences and used TW to revert them, but it only reverted the last one. It seems to only go on runs of the same user. I'll have to watch out for that in the future. Thanks. --Imroy (talk) 05:38, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

"compact citation templates" ?

Out of curiousity, why do this? I don't see any benefit, and the only effect seems to be to make inline citations harder to maintain.--NapoliRoma (talk) 01:37, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
