[edit] Hey!!

hey hey hey!!! Look who's back! I was really wondering which remote part you have gone and hidden yourself.. So welcome back (look how tables turn, just the other day I was the newbie learning the tricks from you and now I am welcoming you:) and well thanks so much for the barnstar as well as your support to my RFA... Hope you'll stick around now -- Lost(talk) 03:44, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Glad to see you back, Impu. Please continue editing however low frequency it may be. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 05:44, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Looks good

As best as I could tell, the gallery looks good now. Thanks for fixing it. I changed the external links into internal ones just so it looks nicer for you too. Kevin_b_er 16:11, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your support!

Se la face ay pale, la cause est...

23:42, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

If I'm a bit pale in the face now,
it's because of the amazing support
during my recent request for adminship
and because of all those new shiny buttons.

And if in the future
my use of them should not always be perfect
please don't hesitate to shout at me
any time, sunset, noon or sunrise.

[edit] Thanks ImpuMozhi

Took me a while to get back to you for various reasons. Yes indeed I am still here! I also had a small break from wikipedia a few months back, it has been a real hectic year. Anyhow, ImpuMozhi if you remember it was your yourself who have kindly invited me to register in the first place. I have learnt so much from wikipedia (and being part of it) and all that is thanks to you. As for the photos, well many of them were actually already in wikipedia, such as the Jaivana's photo, which was already there in the Cannon article. Nevertheless, thankyou so much for the Barn Star, It felt nice as well when I saw it, thanks again!

Apart from that I'm quite surprised to learn from you about the relatively small number of people interested in Indian history, out of all the people in India that could speak English and have access to the Internet.. Another reason, which kept me in wikipedia is because of how disgusted I am of the continuous attempts to distort and simplify Asian history. Lastly, thanks for your wish with regards to the case, wouldn't say that trip was particularly happy due to the situation. In the past centuries, these internal family conflicts would have been much worse, as a historian yourself, I'm sure you can imagine. Nevertheless I have my own objectives in life (fortunately) which is to be an instigator of rural development and historic-conservation in Rajasthan, so these courtcases are just an unfortunate part of life that has to be dealt with.

Lastly, things would be much better though if I could reconcile with my grandma as soon as possible, after all it was not her fault, and she is the only grandparent I ever really got to know (as my Thai-grandfather passed away when I was 9).Devraj Singh 04:39, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request

Hi,

Can you please have a look at this article. I think the title is written wrongly. There should be halant at the end of both words. Just wanted to confirm from someone who understands the script better. — Ambuj Saxena (talk) 05:35, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Did you know

Updated DYK query On 27 November 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Rajendrasinhji Jadeja, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

[edit] Ranganathaswamy Temple

I see that you moved this article. I do not object. However, some editors believe that when a name refers to one subject far more often than to others, that a simple search for that name should bring up the most commonly expected subject. In the case of Ranganathaswamy Temple, I think by far the most expected subject would be the temple at Srirangam, which is the largest temple in India, and also the largest temple currently used as a Hindu temple. I am only sharing this for your reference so that you will be aware of the issue. Sincerely, --BostonMA talk 20:21, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you

Thank you for your comments on Talk:Carnatic music. You have reflected my stand in this dipute quite succintly. All I'm trying to bring is a neutral point of view to the article. A couple of users are unwilling to listen to reason. Any help from you to find a compromise will greatly help. Thanks Parthi talk/contribs 00:23, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images to commons

Hi, the image was apparently moved to commons (rather: copied there and deleted here) by commons:User:Stanmar, using my PushForCommons tool. Knowing what images to move, it might be better to use my CommonsHelper tool which is easier to use for such a purpose. It is not a bot, just a helper tool for manual upload, as it prepares a decent image description for commons.

You can use the tool yourself. You will have to create a new user account on commons, though. You can use the same user name as here, if it is not taken.

The page you gave me as a category is not a category, however, images uploaded through the CommonsHelper tool will automatically be caregorized under the name of the original uploader here, in your case, commons:Category:Files by User:ImpuMozhi from en.wikipedia (which is currently empty; feel free to edit it).

Hope that helps, --Magnus Manske 22:54, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!!

I am deeply grateful for your appreciation. Althogh my time on Wikipedia is very little in recent weeks, I will try and contribute as much as I can. My next project will be to make Tamil literature a FAC. Any help will be appreciation. Thanks Parthi talk/contribs 18:27, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] wikibreak

well, you just were active, by telling me, weren't you. So you could as well just have fixed it yourself. I mean, I cannot be expected to look after all the damage WIN is doing, I'm not glued to the screen myself. Maybe it is time to look into dealing with WIN as a perpetual waste of time without producing one useful edit, ever. Anyway, please try not to use me as your wikibot, you either walk away in a huff and stop caring (which I would of course deplore), or else you know where the editing button is :) dab (𒁳) 22:53, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] BARAHA

The documents are in Kannada and sent to me by email. How can I read these? They are worded like this sqmdata03. It is an sqm file as saved here.

--Dore chakravarty 01:14, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry. I don't have experience opening kannada documents. At the least, I could suggest Dore follow the steps at, Wikipedia:Kannada_Support and see if it helps. Regards, Ganeshk (talk) 05:43, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Kingdom of Mysore

Hello,
Thanks for your review and comments. However, the article has already been promoted to FA. See Wikipedia:Featured Articles. However, those comments are valuable and need to be addressed. May I request you to move out those comments to Article talk page? or User:Dineshkannambadi's talk page? He is the primary author of this FA and he did run the show in FAC, addressing all the concerns raised. Just a suggestion. Thanks again for your review. - KNM Talk 05:12, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Help

Dear Impumozhi,

I will be needing your help pretty shortly on the Singh article. There is a chap called Harrybabbar who has a history of being insulting and vandalising the Singh article with his POVs. He is very rude and I am sure he is going to try and make this article a political issue and try and steer it on a wrong course.

Cheers, Gorkhali (talk) 06:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:User pi

A tag has been placed on Template:User pi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Dikshitar.png

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Dikshitar.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:07, 10 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ncmvocalist (talk) 01:07, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
