[edit] Elvis has left the building
For the good of the project, I hearby resign from wikipedia. It is increasingly clear that I do not have the diplomacy skills to to make it in this community. My apologies for my hostilies. After a few more steps of clean up, I am out of here. Infinite Improbability Drive 03:11, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Was it related to this check user result? Arbustoo 03:18, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- No, check the date stamp here. I am not VacuousPoet. Infinite Improbability Drive 03:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- I resigned at 03:11, 6 May 2007 but the datestamp of the finding is 03:16, May 6, 2007. The checkuser is wrong. I request a graceful exit. You may contact me via email. Going to change my password now. Infinite Improbability Drive 03:23, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- Interesting thing on the time stamps, if anyone still believes a word ImprobabilityDrive says. ImprobabilityDrive "resigned" at 03:11, 6 May 2007, and the check user clerk began blocking/checking accounts at 03:06, 6 May 2007. Was this "resignation" due to a feeling of guilt/paranoia about what was going to happen at check user? Maybe ImprobabilityDrive thought there was a good chance check user was going to link his account to a known sock puppet. Arbustoo 19:06, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- I'd love to get an email, because you could trace it definitively. Anyways, this stuff happens, and it makes me more and more cynical about users who come in and are so disruptive. I knew this guy was not what he thought he was from second 1. You give good faith, and you get lied to. This is no fun sometimes. Orangemarlin 15:56, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- Just remember that WP:AGF is not a suicide pact. Another comment: generally folks who cry foul and invoke AGF at every conceivable nmoment turn out to be socks, meatpuppets, trolls or just tendentious editors. Of course, some users who take AGF to heart with a zeal like a it was a main tenet of some religion will disagree with this charcterization, but I prefer reality to fantasy. •Jim62sch• 21:10, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- Ok, gentlemen. The editor has left, very likely jumped before he was pushed. The project is no longer in any danger from him. Lets not taunt him any further on his talkpage. If you wish to have a discussion on the merits of AGF or dealing with alleged sockpuppets, there is an appropriate forum for that. This is not it. Rockpocket 22:59, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sockpuppet
Please note the following: Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/VacuousPoet (3rd). I have also tagged the user page with the charge. This editor may reply to the charges at the Sockpuppet page. Orangemarlin 19:05, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] For the record
The source of all this disruption and sock puppetry to avoid an indef ban, ImprobabilityDrive, I mean VacuousPoet, er Kdbuffalo, is a Conservapedia admin. Just goes to show... FeloniousMonk 02:50, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- For the record, Kdbuffalo is not blocked, and the allegations that VacuousPoet was Kdbuffalo was as scurrilous as most of your allegations. So, why not complete the circle, and do a check user on Kdbuffalo to see if he *really* was VacuousPoet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kdbuffalo2 (talk • contribs) 16:36, May 8, 2007

- Who cares? ImprobabilityDrive is a sockpuppet of VacuousPoet, and that is the only checkuser that was requested. Why don't you go back to your other life with the POV conservatives. Orangemarlin 00:38, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

- For the record, KDbuffalo was blocked though it appears not permanently. You can read more at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Kdbuffalo 2. Also for the record, ImprobabilityDrive shares the same IP as VacuousPoet who also shared the IP/ was used by Kdbuffalo.

- KdBuffalo posted from suny.edu. It is clear that evolutionists use allegations of sockpuppetry on wikipedia to drive away others who do not share their POV. Wikipedia can fool some of the people some of the time, but others know that Darwin's vipers live on. Kdbuffalo2 20:17, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

- Strange for Kdbuffalo to monitor this talk page? Speaking of Conservapedia, I have to say the Conservapedia's article on Patriot Bible University is pretty funny. Arbustoo 23:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
