Esso has an agreement with Irving Oil to supply its stations with Gas in Nova Scotia and Irving in turn provides for gas in New Brunswick for Esso . Also any surplus production is sold to the Americian market .--Bill 20:59, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

There were a couple of confusing sources on this. This New Brunswick government report states that "The Irving refinery in Saint John services only Irving outlets. The majority of the other outlets, regardless of brand are supplied from the Imperial Oil refinery in Dartmouth." Which seems to imply that Irving keeps to itself. It is far from clearly worded, and your chages are almost certainly correct. What we really need is an article on the Irving refinery in St. John, which as the largest refinery in Canada very much should have an article. - SimonP 22:42, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
