Impellitteri is not strictly a Christian metal band and labeling them such is a bit misleading. Traditional Chritsian bands often write music with the express purpose of saving or converting people. Impellitteri has not made such claims to my knowledge.

I agree (and I'm a Christian). I have Stand In Line and nothing on it is overtly Christian, though I have seen interviews with Chris in Christian metal publications. I would put them on a similar level with Kansas and U2, where the band has Christian members, but lyrically is not explicitly Christian.--MarshallStack 17:28, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

"Traditional Chritsian bands often write music with the express purpose of saving or converting..." Not really. Most Christian metal bands tend not to express their views to the point of bands such as Stryper or Bride (band), I.e., As I Lay Dying, Demon Hunter, and even some Teramaze songs. Christian metal is a form of heavy metal music and its many subgenres with Christian lyrics and themes. Every band has inspirational and religious lyrics.[1] Whether or not a band uses explicit religious themes is different. IronCrow (talk) 05:41, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
