Improvised firearm

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An improvised firearm is a gun not made by established manufacturing companies. In many jurisdictions, such firearms are legal, although in other jurisdictions they are illegal. The most common version of improvised firearm seen is the zip gun.

Improvised firearms are popular in nations that have strict gun control laws, as well as in other nations in which hobbyist gunsmiths craft many types of firearms, including improvised firearms, both of which are often legal.
