The Imperator Aleksandr II class were ironclad battleships built for the Imperial Russian Navy in the 1880s.

  • Imperator Aleksandr II (Император Александр II - Alexander II of Russia) - built by the New Admiralty yard St Petersburg. Laid down November 1885, Launched June 1887, Completed June 1895. Reconstructed by the Fench La Seyne yard in 1902-1904 (old 9-inch and 6-inch guns replaced by five 8-inch (203 mm) and eight 6-inch (152 mm) guns). Served in the Baltic Fleet and renamed Zarya Svobody (Dawn of Freedom) after the Russian Revolution. Scrapped in 1925.
