Imelda Quintero was a contributor to the Chicago Sun-Times in an August 20, 2002 article which exposed the state of the Roman Catholic Church in the post-Vatican II era. Quintero explained to journalist Cathleen Falsani how she was led into believing that the local Evangelical Lutheran Community church was Roman Catholic, and how she mistakenly had her two children baptized there. The article continued to explain the similarity of the liturgical rituals of the post-Conciliar church to those of the Lutheran faith.
