Imbarek Shamekh (Arabic: امبارك عبدالله الشامخ ) (born May 15, 1952) was General Secretary of the People's Committee in Libya (Prime Minister) from 1 March 2000 to 14 June, 2003.

Imbarek Shamekh graduated from the University of Central Florida, U.S.A, in 1981 from the faculty of Electrical and communication Engineering.
